Dear committee

Thank you very much for your recent sponsorship of last Tuesdays (07/09) grade A9 race in which our puppy HEART TEST VIVID was awarded your £100 prize. She had yet to win a race and these funds boosted her kitty very much! She was obviously inspired because she won her first race last night too!

  Goals

In 2004 we achieved the following goals

New air flow through the kennels fitted
The curtain that has now been fitted
We have joined forces with the RGT to home retired greyhounds at Oxford
Regular monthly meetings with the general manager where we can air are grievances
First Tuesday in every month for presentations of owners prizes for their Greyhounds achievements
Birthday trophy presentations that are no longer presented on open or non graded races thus denying our owners their chance of winning a trophy
As we did not have a General Manager for the first 6months of our year our achievements are not as great as they could have been but this next twelve months will see us rocket forward in achieving a better and fairer environment for both the owner and their greyhounds

In 2006 we have set the following goals

Any thing to do with the improvement in the Welfare of the greyhound
Track Safety Proper depth scarification to prevent hardening of the track surface after water has been administered and the sun has baked it rock hard
Running rail to be renewed to a proper running height
Advertising hoardings on inner track wall to be raised above the wall in the interest of greyhound safety
Prize Money will be of paramount importance this next year with large protests not only at Oxford but at all GRA tracks during the Autumn we will be expecting a significant increase from January 1st 2004
